Welcome to the official web site of the Alliance of Latin American Students (A.L.A.S.) at Queens College. Since 1993, A.L.A.S. has set the standard of quality events on campus. We have had over 1,000 members on campus since our inception. We are very proud of everything we have done on campus. From cultural events to our parties (Fright Night, Dominican Independence, and Cultural Night), our events are known not only campus-wide, but CUNY-wide. A.L.A.S. has not only become an orginazation focused on Latin culture, A.L.A.S. has become a place where people can go to relax, play cards, and relieve hemselves of the pressures of classes. A.L.A.S. also has member clubs which have their own events and meetings (Boricuas Unidos, Colombian Club, Quisqueya Club, and Mestizaje {our literary newsletter]). Members of the the club consider themselves to be a family. We hope you do the same.
